The School starts admission procedure in the month of January every year with a notification from the Principal. All application for admission shall be in the prescribed form attached to the prospectus and shall be submitted so as to reach the office, not later than the date notified by the Principal.
A selection board may be constituted by the school with the Principal as its head. The board will introduce methods of selection as per rules and regulations issued by the authorities from time to time. Admission to all classes will depend on availability of seats.
Admitted students will be enrolled on payment of the prescribed fees within the stipulated time. Parents are normally allowed one week’s time for the payment of fee, unless specially permitted by the Principal, after they have been provisionally selected. Candidates permitted to withdraw will receive back only the refundable amount after deducting dues to the school if any.
Any student who has obtained admission by means of false documents or by false representation of any kind, or who may be found guilty of misconduct shall be summarily dismissed. Principal’s decision will be final in this regard.
A student applying for transfer certificate or the return of documents from the school, should have cleared all his/her dues. All caution deposits should be withdrawn within one month after having received the Transfer Certificate.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals of a child during an academic session is discouraged Parent/Guardian can withdraw their child if they wish o do so after the completion of the academic session. Such intended withdrawal of a pupil should be made known to the Principal in writing with reasons of withdrawal, one month in advance otherwise one month’s fee will be charged.
Fee Payment
Parents/Guardian should deposit the school fees including transport charges before the 7th of every month. The mode of payment will be through cheque/demand draft drawn in favour of “Joseph and Mary Sr.Sec.School”. A fine of Rs. 5/-per say after 7th of every month will be charged for late payments. If a parent fails to pay his/her child’s fee by the last working day of the month, the child’s name will be struck off from the school register. Re-admission is granted only on payment of arrears and re-admission fees.
School fee is subject to revision as per rules, and the hike depends on market inflation, increase in the allowance to staff declared by the Government from time to time etc.
