The Chairman

Mr. Jagat Thakur; an eminent educationist has spent more than half his life time setting up schools. Joseph and Mary Public School is mainly the result of his hard work and inspiration in an area where most people had not seen a proper school before. Mr Jagat Thakur, at the inception of the school was known to have stayed up at all hours of the day and night, nurturing the staff and students into the position where it is to day. In a short span of about 15 years he has managed to bring the strength of the school to 2000 plus. Hats off to him!

The Manager

Mr. Manin Thakur , Having been selected for I.A.S. he rejected the training and selection to come and help his father in running the school. His business acumen and intelligence have helped not only the teachers but also the students to a very large extent. Not with standing his busy life, he still gets time to meet with staff and students. Being a good counselor to the students, he has a good rapport with one and all. Regular competitions and lectures relating to career counseling and stress release, are organized by him for the students and on the job training session and workshops for the teachers. The school has a lot to thank him for.

The Principal

Mrs. Sindhu , She gives a new meaning to the term rising from the ranks, having began her teaching career in the school almost from its inception, she showed exceptional teaching and administrative abilities and was promoted to the post of principal. As such she bears a wonderful rapport with students, staff and management. She gently but firmly, guides the students through difficult times and acts of indiscipline are certainly not tolerated. She is soft with the good and hard with the indiscipline students. Even the parents hold her in high esteem and respect.
